What about my experience with the magped Enduro pedals?

Do they perform?

Assembling the magped pedals?

You still have to provide the pedals with the pins. There you have to take the profile of your sole into account.

First feel and look?

The pedals feel solid. It is a solid material because you also pay for it. They do feel heavy (ENDURO 150N: 490g & ENDURO 200N: 530g), but once you start pedaling, you don't feel it anymore.

On the road & single track (flat)?

On the track and flats you also feel that the pedals help you while pedaling. The magnets also do their job here.

Climbing?

While climbing you can feel the pedals firmly attached to your feet. The magnets do their job. The nice thing about these pedals is that you can put your feet however you want and still have contact between the magnet and the plate. They really help you climb. My foot does not come off the pedals.

Going down the track?

When the terrain gets a bit rougher, you can certainly rely on these pedals. My foot has never come off the pedals without me wanting to. If you encounter an object on your trajectory, you can react very quickly by pulling the shoe off.

Riding in the mud?

In Belgium you sometimes suffer from mud. At first I was worried they wouldn't perform there. But they do what they are made for. Even in mud these pedals perform very well. It's not that I always have to remove the mud first so that the magnets can do their job. After the ride, it is also easy to clean the pedals.

Freedom?

These pedals give you enormous freedom while driving. You can put your feet however you want, yet there is always contact between the plate and the magnet. You can also put your foot in such a way that there is no contact. You do this, for example, when you want to practice something such as wheelies. So you don't have to adjust anything perfectly like with other click systems. Due to the freedom of your feet, you will not suffer from your knees or other limbs. While driving you can also easily detach your foot from the pedals if, for example, you want to put your foot down in a turn.

Price?

These pedals don't come cheap. But they are worth the money. Certainly the freedom you have. You can buy any shoe with or without a click system. You don't have to change your pedals.
